Our founder Prof. Luciano Lazzari awarded the 2022 Cavallaro Medal

We are delighted to announce that, on the occasion of EuroCorr 2022, our founder Professor Luciano Lazzari has been awarded by the European Corrosion Federation the prestigious Cavallaro 2022 Medal, which is assigned every two years to distinguished scientists in the field of corrosion.

This award confirms the important contribution he made within the field of cathodic protection and corrosion engineering, further solidified by the authorship of the books Cathodic Protection, with Pietro Pedeferri, and Engineering Tools for Corrosion, recently published by the European Corrosion Federation, in addition to the editing of the handbook by Pietro Pedeferri Corrosion Science and Engineering published by Springer.

Luciano Lazzari had been a Professor at the Milan Polytechnic, where he taught at the "Giulio Natta" Department of Chemistry, Materials and Chemical Engineering and is currently the President of CESCOR Srl.
